Homework is a key part of a student’s learning and at Aspire all are expected to complete homework on a regular basis.
As a quick guide, students can expect to receive homework from each of the following areas:
| Maths | All year groups are set homework on a weekly basis |
| English | All year groups are set homework on a weekly basis |
| Science | All year groups are set homework on a weekly basis |
| MFL | Year 7 and 8 are set homework every other week; Years 9, 10, and 11 are set homework every week. |
| Humanities | In Year 7 and 8, students are set a project every half term both History and Geography. In Years 9, 10, and 11 all GCSE and BTEC classes are set homework weekly. |
| ICT & Technology | Years 7 and 8 students are set homework every fortnight in Computing, Technology and Art. In Years 9, 10, and 11 homework is set every week. |

In Year 7 and 8 students are set homework in Music and Drama every fortnight . For PE, students are expected to bring the correct PE kit. In Years 9, 10, and 11 all GCSE and BTEC classes are set homework weekly. |
At Aspire we use www.showmyhomework.co.uk to record what homework has been set. All students and Parents have a unique PIN number so that they can view what homework they have been set.
