Year 5 pupils from Boundary Primary school have been visiting Aspire Academy over a number of weeks recently in order to use our workshop facilities.
The pupils have been working on their insect hotel projects, designing the perfect place for various species to thrive. Once their plans were complete they came to Aspire to construct their grand designs!
Using the workshop tools under the watchful eye of Mr Barnhurst, they measured and cut the components for their insect hotel projects in readiness to assemble back at Boundary Primary school.
Mr Barnhurst said: "The children were very well behaved, it was a pleasure to help and I can see there are a few budding architects after looking at some of the designs for their insect hotels."
